EXCELLENT food and service is a relatively casual store-front restaurant location. The venue may lack curb appeal, but once inside, this is a confortable and upscale dining experience. SERVICE was friendly, helpful, attentive and fast. Server made outstanding recommedations (Black Grouper) and the menu had a wide variety of entres. Wedge salad was fresh and superbly prepared. Wine prices were reasonable too. I can recommend this restaurant for parties of 2-4 or 6 people who love great food and conversation. Upscale menu makes it unlikely that kids would enjoy it. We will return here often. Lots of parking in back.

WOW!!! Never expected to have the best all round meal of my life in a small inconspicuous restaurant in FL. A friend suggested I try Wylds Cafe while I was in Bonita Springs. I had the Calamari and half of the BLT Salad for an appetizer, then Filet Mignon with pomme frites on top with roasted asparagus. OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!!! Then my favorite, bread pudding allamode! I don't know how they made it but it was one I'll never forget. Best food in FL IMHO!

Pretty mediocre food, under seasoned and not well prepared. The side dishes all seemed mass produced and then just nuked in the microwave. It was made worse by the poor service. We ordered steak au poivre, which should be filet and encrusted with peppercorns Wyld choose to serve a sirloin steak, with not a single peppercorn in sight. When we questioned the server, we were told that they changed the recipe as people didn't like the amount of pepper, but no apology or substitute was offered. If Wyld stuck to the original recipe and used filet steak rather than the longer cheaper sirlon, they would not have that problem. When we got the bill, they had left the Steak au poivre on there. Even after we asked for it to be taken off, they only took of 50%. This place isn't terrible, but I think the menu is beyond the chefs, and it doesn't offer very good value for money.

Took our daughter, who was in from Atlanta, for a special evening. As we knew, we picked the right place to sit, relax and enjoy good food and conversation. Shrimp and lobster risotto, cashew encrusted grouper and lamb shanks were absolutely wonderful. We had used a coupon for off season folks and the waitress forgot to apply it to our bill. When we were home my husband caught it, called and they had caught it themselves! Great food and a professional management. Glad we have moved to the area! We will be back!

Just returned from a trip to Bonita, and the standout dining experience that will bring us back was dinner at Wyld's! Our first visit but not our last - excellent food and ambiance. Cashew encrusted grouper was the best I have had in quite some time. Enormous portion of quality, FRESH grouper! My husband thoroughly enjoyed his pork chop - when you can rave about a pork chop, you know the chef is great! Risotto as a side was cooked just right. Service was inviting but not intrusive. Although the dining room was full, each member of the wait staff helped others so that food flowed smoothly. Have to try the Crepe for dessert - my husband is not a dessert kind of guy, but he clearly didn't share this one fairly with me! As we left we both felt we had been welcomed into a special place. We will be back.

We had a great dinner here tonight! Only down side...we found it on our last night in town! Beautiful spot but hard to see from the street. Parking and entrance is in the back. Worth finding though!

Awesome food, great service. This is one of Bonita's hidden gems. Incredible food with peaceful tranquil atmosphere. This is a must try if you are in Bonita Springs!

Dinner was great. Our server KC was great. We ordered some of her recommendations and they were everything she said they would be! We had scallops for appetizer, caeser and bLT salads, tenderloin saga, meatloaf and the ribeye special for entrees and the crepe brûlée for dessert. All phenomenal.

Food and service were great. Unexpected find in a small strip shopping center. Park around the back to enter. Staff was super friendly. We ordered half the menu... soup, salads, tuna appetizer, grouper halibut, scallops, steak and continued to the dessert. Crepe Creme brûlée was my fav but the other people in my party had the bread pudding and strawberry shortcake and enjoyed as well. I can't leave out the delicious bread. We'll be back!

We didn't have a reservation but they were accomidating and able to seat us at the bar. I would definitely recommend the parmesean crusted walleye, as it was delicious. There was however a pin bone in it which I almost swallowed, hense the 4 stars instead of 5. The wine and craft beer selections are extensive and I will most definitely be back.

Great food in a relaxed and intimate setting. I spend every winter in SW Florida and this is my go to restaurant. Great tuna apps and we live the Wylds filet. Only beer and wine but a great extensive list of both. And we just heard they are staying open through the summer this year.

Drove by this plaza numerous times and it was never open, so I assumed it was closed down. Upon further searching, it's only open for dinner. We arrived at 5:20 for a 5:30 reservation and the place was packed! Download their BOGO coupon on their website. KC was an excellent server! Perfect for this type of restaurant. The BLT salad was outstanding and so was the sourdough bread. I had the scallops and he had the NY sirloin; both were delish with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Only complaint was the 20% tip already on the bill. We would have given her 20% anyway, but just sayin'! If you're looking for an upscale restaurant with a decent wine list, this is a great diversion from all the bar-food beach bars in Bonita.

Returned for Valentine's day. Same fantastic service and food is still very good. My wife was somewhat disappointed with her meal because she thought, from the description, that it would include an actual lobster tail (surf and turf) but actually got some lobster chunks in a red sauce. She also learned that she is not a risotto fan (she had never had it before). Her steak, however was excellent as was mine.

One of my favorite places for amazing dinner & wine. Great service but unfortunately gets 4 stars because they took away their early bird happy hour with half price apps and wine, bring it back please !

I only have one real complaint for this place. The food was ok, nothing great or flashy and the furniture and fixtures are ok . The inside is dark and very low light. I am 47 and I needed my cell phone flashlight to read the menu. Service was decent and the timing was very good. Here is my complaint, I live in Bonita Springs full time and this place was on our list to try. We went to the web site to investigate and see the menu and there was a coupon there for a free equal or lessor entree (with the purchase of two cocktails). That is fine and we thought "ok, now is the time to try". When we went to pay the bill they obviously accepted the coupon HOWEVER they forced a mandatory 18% gratuity on the total before discount. Now here is the problem, nowhere was it said that a mandatory gratuity was included and I always take offense at places that do that. A Tip is earned and not expected. Now with that said, I am a very generous "tipper" and 20% is my minimum. I just don't care for the "Mandatory" portion. After I told the waitress (very nice woman) she went to the manager who could care less. I told her that we would not return based upon that event. The manager could care less which means I could care less. I will never go back to that place ever again. They can extort money from some other person. Just not from me again.

Consistently fine dinner and excellent early dining value. Unlike earlier reviewer the added on tip does not offend us.. The salads are excellent and a favorite entree is the wall -eyed pike in a mouth watering crust. Bread is hot and fresh. They close for the Summer in early May and I hope they will be back. One star penalty for dark and dreary interior.

Hidden in a yellow strip mall on the south side of Bonita Beach Rd, with a rear of the building entry, we weren't surprised when our friends who've wintered here for 15 years had never seen this restaurant. But they will be back - as will we. We ordered salads, short ribs, meatloaf, a vegetarian plate and the filet mignon saga. Every dinner entree was delicious. My husband was disappointed because he couldn't get plain blue cheese salad dressing - so he passed on the salad course. The bread, when it was served, was doughy and the butter furnished was a bit on the skimpy side for 4 people. However our request for more was filled quickly. If it weren't for those two minor details I'd rate this place with 5 stars. Everyone enjoyed their meals - and we were honestly too full to consider desserts. Maybe next time. Service was friendly - but not intrusive. All in all it was a fine evening.

Contemporary American meets modern fusion meets Bonita Springs. Wylds ranks in my top 3 of favorite restaurants in South West Florida. Definitely a place for special occasions. It being located in a tiny strip mall off Bonita Beach Rd. may seem a bit odd but trust me, there is no funny business going on inside this modern marvel. As a devote patron going on 4 years, Wylds has always been a pleaser to my palate of taste. I have even arranged a private function for myself and 13 other guests and there was not one faux pas! Our 4 course meal went off without a hitch, not a single complaint or suggestion for improvement. The menu is diverse, with many options for all tastes, including a vegetarian option for those who are so inclined. Lots of fresh fish, steaks, a few pasta dishes and a variety of other specialty meats. The wine list is diverse and very nicely picked, with a price range for all budgets and not to mention, the list of beers and micro brews is pleasantly surprising. The dining room is accented with deep, solid earth tones and wood furnishings. A very cozy and intimate feeling. A short drive from Naples or Fort Myers, Wylds is a must try.

my wife's ex boss brought us here for dinner. Everything was great, great, great. Food, decor (nice paintings by the chef's wife), and wine were all first class. By far the best dining I experienced while in the Naples area. A must try !!
